Later on that same day i did some headshots to a Realtor, she is my favorite Realtor

once we finished that i had to quickly pack since we went to Point Reyes for the weekend, now i need a vacation from this long weekend.

Wedding Album 101

Just finished preparing some of the images for a wedding album and i figured i can share it with all of you, there is a LOT of work in creating a wedding album.

It starts with selecting the right images to tell a story, then you need to create the flush mount images and edit them in Photoshop. i think Photoshop has taken a few years of my life already!

The album selection is no easy task as well, there are a lot of options styles and colors out there, for instance Asuka Books. These are not the type of albums you buy at the local office depot :)

I still have to print and style and edit the album, no wonder these album sale for big $$$.

Almost done!

I almost finished working on the pictures from last week wedding, i know Iris and Guy are waiting for that so i will send them an online gallery today. for now here are a few sneak pics

It takes some time to finish since i always take the time to go over the images, remove duplicates and enhance the images i think have potential.

Many times it's difficult to get the perfect exposure during the wedding, that's when Photoshop comes in very handy,

sometimes i just want to remove an unwanted item from the picture.
As much as i enjoy working with Digital SLRs i still use film for weddings, 25% of

this wedding was shot with film.
Film has a special look that digital doesn't have yet, i can make it look the same with a lot of Photoshop work but it is time consuming,

here are a few examples for film based pictures:

Check out some of the images from the wedding here, full gallery will be posted after the bride and the groom approve it.

Better late then never...

Our son Adi is six, actually he was six in March but we couldn't celebrate him a proper birthday party so we just did it yesterday with lots of friends and fun. the theme of the party was pirates, like most boys he likes piretes
My wife Avital planed everything to the smallest detail and Hadas made sure the kids are heaving fun, i was the photographer as usual.

some real estate anyone?

Yesterday i helped the nicest Realtor in the bay area, Cindy Hung, with some photos of a nice house in Rivermark. it's amazing how fast this area grew up, when we moved to California we stayed in one of the hotels there for a month, in the last 2 years this area more then doubled its size, and its so convenient, all the restaurants schools, doctors and other services are all in the same area.

Cindy is becoming the main Realtor in Rivermark, after seeing her working with the house owner while i was taking pictures i started thinking about a property myself.

I wanted the pictures of the house and the area to look a little different then the usual stuff you get from Joe the real estate agent so we did some panoramic shots of the house. Good luck to the happy buyer!

Iris & Guy Wedding

Just came back from a wonderful wedding with a great couple in Santa Barbara. Guy and Iris live in southern California and they got married on a lovely location, right on the Santa Barbara beach.
It was a very relaxed wedding with one thing in mind, lets have fun!

Our day started in the beauty Salon with Stephen the hair stylist, what a character, he did his magic on Iris hair but don't ask me what he did, i'm not really what you call a "hair specialist". hay, just take a look at my picture, last time i had hair on my had it was the previous century :)

We met Hadas there, Stephen was doing her hair as well.
After that the race started and we rushed to the hotel, actually we had to find the hotel first...
i'm really glad Iris is a very laid back type of girl, she wasn't stressed at all. i quickly ran to the beach to grab some shots of the preparations

The kids always have the most fun
in these events and i love taking pictures of kids, you just have to make sure they don't notice you or make sure they had enough candies so they don't care.

while the guest enjoyed the perfect day outside we were getting ready for the Huppa ceremony. guy and Iris kept there cool as you can see. i'm glad the wind stopped blowing and the weather was perfect for this wedding, we got a little worried since the previous day and even during the morning of the wedding they had some crazy winds going on there.

Iris approached the gazebo accompanied by her parents and the special moment was soon to start, I’m sure it was very exciting for her.

After the ceremony they didn’t stop dancing and having fun until the end of the evening, please join me and let’s wish them all the best and congratulations!!

Please stay tuned, more is coming soon…
